The eclipse begins at 08:50am. I am hoping to do a live webcast from my house for the EAAS website. I am going to check out the required location of the telescopes as the Sun will be only 10 degrees up so I'll check tomorrow morning.

I checked my location this morning and you can see the Sun at 10degrees but only up on the footpath beside the road. I don't know if this is really the best for a number of people to have scopes etc. observing. 20minutes into the eclipse the Sun will be visible from back garden WP.
Does anyone have a good East horizon and a wireless internet connection? I wonder if Les has this and is he in the country?

I'll be at work, but I'll have the ETX70 with me in case I have the time to nip out for a while! The car park outside has the requisite view as verified this morning.
Clear skies,
Paul.
