I have started watching now in broad daylight lol ;D - just kidding. I will tell you what I do want to get....comet SWAN, Aurora and fireball on the same image - you think it can be done?
A solar wind stream is to hit tonight or on Sat..keep watch.

I recall that Aurora vividly - it was beauitful The images speak for themselves. Lets hope we get another show like that soon!

Veronica I caught these shots of the Aurora last Halloween night This was the Aurora at it's peak with a meteor Aurora not as big but a firework aswell

Those images bring back some great memories Conor - that aurora was amazing and of the unexpected kind. The good old IMF tilting south Maybe we will get another this Hallloween

Conor - those are two great images - I especially like the one with the exploding firework (great timing!).
I can't believe the vividness and extent of that aurora in that it was seen over this country! Amazing! After witnessing my first NLC display this summer, I am sooooo keen to see my first aurora. At least I can now check the charts from home each evening! Please, please, please!

I have now started an Aurora forecast which will be updated every few days/when needed giving up to date and to the minute Aurora alerts!
