I've heard of the creation of the universe being described as a white hole and i have a book somewhere that talks about it so it's not necessarily a new thing.

I think years ago I read an article is Sky and Telescope speculating that the net energy of the universe was zero - the gravitational potential of all the masses attracting each other balances the mass energy - which means it could all have come from a quantum fluctuation similiar to Hawking radiation where a particle and its antiparticle are created at the event horizon of a black hole - normally they cancel each other out but if one falls into it they cant so the black hole appears to emit radiation. They also slowly "evaporate" because of this, smaller ones much faster than big heavy ones. Something maybe the size of an atom with the mass of a mountain!
Havent been on a lot as Ive become seriously addicted to World of warcraft!
