Stevie and Eamonn have put together this article on the site! www.eaas.co.uk/cms/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=85:choosing-your-first-telescope&catid=5:learning-zone&Itemid=8 If you are thinking about a first telescope, have a read at this article! Update 18/4/12 Please note, any mention of discounts from First Light Optics no longer applies. Update 2/1/15 Please note that, although the telescope recommended at the end of this article is a very good telescope, this new product has now become available from Telescope House. It is an excellent telescope, which I have used and recommended to a couple of people, all of whom have been delighted with it. The eyepieces supplied are of much better quality than those supplied with the Skywatcher in the article, and Telescope House are, at the time of writing, very amenable to negotiating discount prices for extra equipment like red dot finders, barlow lenses etc. Delivery prices are also very good. Please feel free to ask on the forum for more advice Stevie www.telescopehouse.com/acatalog/Revelation-8---F-6-M-CRF-Premium-Dobsonian--White-.html
