Hi all. Sorry I haven't been active for a bit but my back condition wore me down to a 100 year old for a while! Anyway, I'm back and keen to get back into observing. I'm keen to go to this but accommodation is a problem so I've decided to take my caravan down. There's a caravan site about 8 miles away from the Hostel. It's a 2 berth caravan but I have an awning which could easily sleep 4 so if anyone, or knows of anyone who wants to bring a camp bed and sleeping bag they can use it. It could easily sleep 4. Just offering!

It's brilliant that you are going to come down Ronny.
Now, if we could only talk a certain gentleman from County Tyrone into going, that would be the whole of the hardcore Bragan crew onboard.

I can give him accommodation at least and I could probably grab him on the way down!

It's great to have you out observing again Ronny and excellent you've decided to come down to Kerry. I'm really really looking forward to it, if nothing else the crack is going to be brilliant. I still don't know if I'm coming down on the Wednesday or Thursday though, think I'll have to ring the lodge today.

I truly do want to go and I am still trying to see if I can make it possible. I am already taking 3 weeks off in July on a holiday in Switzerland. If I don't come home with a broken bank account I might be able to do it but I sadly won't know until the start of August.

Simon, accommodation is booked out and I'm binning the idea of the caravan, it's just too long a drive. The Skellig Lodge are allowing me to pitch a tent in the grounds of the Lodge so accommodation is sorted. I'm planning to go down on the Wednesday with Jason. We can swing by and pick you up. Even if you don't let me know until Wednesday morning!

If camping is the only option left then I am out I am sorry to say. I will leave out the strong words and awful memories but camping in a tent is never an option for me. Thanks for the offer though, it's really appreciated.

Hi Guy's and Gal's.. With the number climbing and Cable O'Leary's only able to hold 100 persons for the talks on Saturday we had to do a ticket system, these tickets are free and can be got here.. www.eventbrite.ie/e/skellig-star-party-talks-tickets-17259425406We had to limit it to 3 tickets per person.. So make sure ye all get and print off yer tickets. Cheers Roy
