Hi all,
Was at Ballycastle seafront at 6pm today. The outskirts of the town was bathed in brilliant sunshine but the beach area was shrouded in a ghostly mist. Right in front of me looking seawards appeared a huge mistbow, I can only describe it like this. No rainbow colours but it gave the appearance of looking into a giant mist cavern enclosed by the bow. A nearby photographer was taking pictures and we talked together agreeing that we had never seen such an event. I informed him of the website and he said he might be able to post some shots after he has processed them. I hope he does.
Good viewing,
Derrick

Forecast for observing tonight was excellent so I was thinking about heading out for the first time in ages but then a strange ghostly mist hit Portrush! Oh well.
