James Adamson's beautiful image of Mars prompted me to show you my image from the 14th October at 0022UT. Taken with the ETX90mm at prime focus it is a stack of 414 frames in Registax. Who says you need a big telescope to see the details? Ok, it's a small image, but at least it's a result!!

Hey John
That's a lovely image of Mars. Very true to what you can expect to see through the eyepiece. Did you use a 2x barlow with that?

Thanks all!
Neil, got only a few images of the moon recently mainly because of the poor weather. The image of Mars was taken at the prime focus only, no barlow was used. Yea Martin, just goes to show what you can get with the wee ETX90 when you put some work into it.

A very good result John! I have yet to get my webcam onto Mars but I'll be very happy if I get a result as good as that!
Clear skies,
Paul.
