Excellent shot of M42! I reckon that with not too much work that would clean up very nicely.

That has great potential Mark - there is really good depth there with cloud details. All you need is about 10 without star trails. Stick them in K3CCDTools and align and stack them. Then a bit of processing in Paint Shop Pro and you will have a photo to frame on your wall !!

thanks all must try harder if these clouds would go away!!.going to try shorter exp and this k3ccdtools yoke to see if i can get rid of the star trails and a nice clean picture,but i have to say i am very proud of this shot as it`s my first try at this deep space crack and i would say to anyone who`s thinking of trying this go for it you never know what you`ll get all you need is time and a clear sky all the best now
