Hope this is the right place for this post and some pictures. I've just found this forum and some fantastic photos chaps ... makes me very jealous. Anyways ... I love night sky gazing but I've only got 20 x 70 and 10 x 50 binos and when I can I use my Sony717 with or without a converted rifle scope ... i use it for this moon shot These orion shots were 15 sec shutter I missed the Aurora the other night have to be more vigilent. anyway ta for now ;D

thanks for the kind welcome, now that the darker nights are here again i'll be getting out as much as possible. I'll try to make the Mars watch ... i'm across the lough in Millisle, so it's not too far if I nip across on the ferry .... I'll have to keep my russian binos well hidden from all your professional tele's
