..... to Jupiter! Was up early this morning and noticed the sky was dark and clear, so I snapped a few wide field shots - nothing too remarkable, then noticed the onset of dawn and remembered that Jupiter should be around the back of the Sun by now so I followed the handle of The Plough around to Arcturus and then down to the horizon where Spica was twinkling away in the SE, and waited. A few minutes later I saw it, brighter than the glow of the oncoming dawn - here it is.... I should add that the star at top right is Spica - Jupiter is much lower. Clear skies, Paul.

Well done Paul I headed in for the night just before Jupiter rose. Thats a nice looking image!
