Superb Martin - we had something rather different here which I'll show you later - Jude's using the mainframe and I'm on the laptop so I can't download from the camera right now! It was a very bright end of rainbow only over the sea!
Paul.

Superb shots Martin, almost looks like you have painted on those colours!
Likewise Paul, that's a strange one, never seen anything like that before, well caught!

Thanks guys Yea John they sure do look like they have been painted on, only the colours were stroked by the hand of the best painter i know...mother nature! (yea yea cheesy i know ) Paul that is one beautiful image of an 'aurora bow' however i would like to christen it the 'zodical bow' due to its similarity to the zodical light!

Hi Martin, That's an amazing bow, the only time I ever saw colours that vivid was when driving through Saintfield a couple of months ago, cars (inc. myself) were actually slowing down and rubber knecking the rainbow it was so vivid, there was also supernumeray arcs and the secondary of course! Robert.
