That first one is my fave - that's some vivid halo! I love the big towering cumulus tops in that one- very dramatic!

Excellent shots Martin! There was an excellent halo when I left Lisburn earlier but I was cameraless. At home here it's looking like a thunderstorm could be on the way.
I recorded 27.5C in Lisburn. Is this a record?

Excellent shots Martin! #1 might have been better if you had used the top of the poo pipe to cover the Sun :-)
P.
PS. The storm never came!

Martin - nice work again! Paul, 27.5* might well be a record for Lisburn and these warm nights certainly make for comfortable (if not very dark) observing conditions! The sun had disappeared behind clouds here when i got home from work, but there was one very dark and heavy rainstorm to the south - no thunder/lightening though, which I did expect....

Erm...haven't looked the forecast up, ha ha!
I'm not sure about thunderstorms today - at least in Belfast (yuck), the sun's only managing to break through the cloud a little bit. Yesterday, around home, there was plenty of humidity in the sky and the air around; I could almost feel the sultriness. That's when i saw the cloud thicken enough and darken and then the rain below. Thanks to your question, I'm now going to go and refresh my memory on the best conditions for the development of a good thunderstorm instead of doing some work!!
