For the 2nd night in a row i seen another NLC display from here only this time it was faint and consisting of a type IIb structureless Veil with soft edges 10 degrees tall and 80 degrees in azimuth with orange, white, green and blue colours visible from 01.05 - 03.15 BST. Visually they were nice but not very photogenic. i4.tinypic.com/160ucll.jpgi4.tinypic.com/160udec.jpgi5.tinypic.com/160udu9.jpg

Nice one, Martin. I think the images are great - they are a visual recording of what was there and I'd get very annoyed if I'd missed a big display

Thankyou Veronica, your right of course...a record is a record at the end of the day and thats why i like to keep any NLC images i get regardless of there quality. It was overcast from here last night followed by late night showers so i seen nothing however several countries got a very nice extensive display. Hope the weather changes soon as we should be getting another big one soon.
Thanks for the feedback
