Go outside and check the north, very bright blue/white NLC display over 20* high, its growing fast.

Indeed. Some low cloud obscuring the edge of the display, but quite bright for the last 30 minutes or so. I can only guess what the obscured portions look like, but the display seems to be covering W to NNW, and the most N segment looks a bit like a fountain. Narrow as it emerges from the cloud cover and appearing to branch higher. The clouds appear to be thinning in places, but thickening just near the NLCS from my vantage point.
