Nice sunpillar appeared here before sunset at 22.40 BST 20* high.

Did you see what looked like a jetstream appear to the left of it at 2157?? and looked as it was moving downward??

Hi Philip, yes i do recall something like that close by to the east of the pillar which later turned a brillant golden colour by the setting sun..was this the same phenomena you saw? it was very cool sporting a fiery profile.
That was one of the tallest pillars for some time!

Nice pics guys, the pillar was also visible from Bangor, amongst the pink\orange clouds, a good one!
