"then I accidently deleted all my images...DOH! "
There are very good free utilities that can get them back for you. Google "undelete".
Jude lost a card's worth on a trip up the Mournes and I got them all back and loads of other shots that I had deleted up to a year previous. As long as the actual space isn't overwritten they will still be there.

Oh no Martin, that was a bit of bad luck. Hopefully you'll be able to get it back. Thats a good tip Paul, I'll have to remember it.

Thanks for the tip Paul, I cannot recover them now as I have already gone through another 300 images last night and 200 the night before in search of meteors. But at least now I know for the future so thanks very much!
