well I am happy to say it has finally stopped raining in Ballymena, of course we now have a complete blanket of fog..
I hate the weather in Ballymena, it must be the soggiest place in Ireland!!!!!!!

Metcheck have now updated their predictive forecasts and include fog whereas previously they could not. So metcheck should be more accurate now that very low cloud can be predicted accurately.

Well, it still remains one of the worst periods I can remember for trying to get some observing in.

Definitely, really bad. 2005 was great in October when there was nearly a week of clear skies.
