0730 - the rings of Saturn, Jupiter and 3 moons.
0830 - Fabulous sunrise - started out fairly normal but then the whole sky began to turn bright orange from the horizon upwards.
0845 - gigantic orange backlit Mammatus clouds, the best I've ever seen!
0915 - horrific sleet storm with the sleet coming in horizontally.
All is back to normal now. This is one of the few days that I didn't have a camera with me!

LOL Another normal Northern Ireland day then? Rain tomorrow morning should be interesting followed by gales.

I was just so annoyed that I didn't have a camera to catch those giant mammatus - they were fabulous!
Today looks a bit wild - I shall have a camera with me just in case!

hen I look forward to seeing some wild weather photos Paul! Sounds like an exciting start to the day for you yesterday and I can imagine your frustration at not having the camera with you.
