Hi Chile, I have an Orion DX 250 f4.8 which is a few years old. The spec of the Europa deluxe is higher. I believe my DX has at least a 1/4 wave mirror whereas the europa deluxe has a 1/6 to 1/8 wave mirror. Basically I can recommend the orion scopes. I get great images through mine, although this depends on how good you are at collimation! I took this image of the recent large sunspot through it, Visually the best view I ever had was of Saturn at 160x one night a few years ago, it was like there was no telescope there, like I was looking out the window of a spacecraft! I do not have any drawings of what is seen visually through my scope so it is hard to relate what is visible in terms of deep sky objects with the scope.

Cheers Martin! It was slightly hazy that day so it is not as sharp as you might expect and as well as that, the weight of my camera causes the focus tube to go out of alignment so its like havin a slightly out of collimation image!
Hey that new sunspot appearing on the limb of the sun is a monster! Hope it stays that way so we can image it!! Robert.

Great image Robert. Here it is witha bit of unsharp mask. Orion Uk scopes are excellent and one of our members has a 12inch dobsonian which is a beautiful scope with amazing views of the night sky - only thing is it is big and cannot track. He has made a barn-door tracker himself for tracking but it is not available out of the box.

Thanks Mark, sometimes I am afraid to go near the sharpening tools, they can introduce horrible artifacts but I think you applied it with caution there! Robert.

Hi Ian,
I can't comment on the Chinese or Zhumell scopes as I have not looked through them, but whatever you get make sure you have the option of sending it back if it turns out to be a lemon. All the scopes mentioned here will be superb if they perform to their specifications. And yes the Zhumell seems to be great value, but for me, that would be a reason to get a 16" Zhumell (if it exists)! Robert.
