Just got a 5mm Hyperion delivered this morning, was not expecting it to be so B-I-G ... lol, not that I'm compaining, can't wait to get it aimed at Saturn and Mars.
£65 from telescopeshop.co.uk ... great service and fast delivery.
I'll report back once i've had some first light.

Please do, I'll be interested, as I'm looking at something that size or smaller...as well as maybe a 35mm.

Well I finally got a chance to use the Hyperion properly tonight ... first night with stable, clear skies ... about time ! Ok so this ain't goin' to be a technical review or anything of the sorts, it's just how I found the 5mm Hyperion to perform ... so am I happy ? ... you're darn tootin' I'm happy, this is a quite an astonishing eyepiece. The setup - 90mm f10 Evostar / 5mm Hyperion = 180 , about as much as I thought I could go for magnification and hoping to get clean results and not some over-magnified fuzzy blobs ! Early in the evening while skies were still bright and blue I aimed my humble scope towards the moon ... WOW ... first time I'd seen craters at x180, crisp and clean, some CA on the brighter edge but nothing bad enough to spoil the view. Next was Saturn a few hours laters ... actually I'm just back in and time for another wow ... what a beautiful sight, simply amazing. I could easily see the Cassini division and the lower dark band on Saturn, what a night. I don't know how to measure / calculate the FOV but I can tell you this, the Hyperion is truely sharp from edge to edge and it took Saturn 1min 18secs to cross the FOV, clean and crisp the whole time giving a very relaxed view. I highly recommend this eyepiece and can only imagine how much better it must be in a better scope than my humble offering ... £65 well spent even just for tonights short session.
