hi there new to the forum.
i have just bought myself a second hand televue np101 prob a bit late in the season to get much use out of it but i have broke the bank and cant afford an eyepiece ;D. Will be saving up over the summer and i will be most likely going for something out of the televue range but i was wondering if anyone has any recommendations or if i came along to one of the meets could i possibly try a few out if anyone doesn't mind???
Fairly new to astronomy would like to find more time for this as a hobby and i am very interested in getting into some astrophotography as i have a canon 350d which should do the job nicely.
ill get some pics of the new scope up as soon as she arrives hopefully on friday!
P.S. i have my helios evostar 120 retractor for sale now if anyone is interested it will be in the for sale forum.

Hi David and welcome to the forum. You're more than welcome to the meetings but we rarely get the chance to observe at them. If you live near enough, keep an eye on here for any sudden observing sessions (some hope with this weather!) and you'll get the chance to use different EP's. Or even pm a contact number to either Stevie, Neil or Eamonn (nemesis) as they're the constants in the observing group and they'll give you a quick buzz if they're heading out. If you need advice re buying one, Neil's your man there. 'She' Your scope is female? Wow! Does everyone else on here have a gender for their scope??

Mine is an alien.
Welcome to the forum David. As advised by Mia, send me a pm and I will let you know when we are heading out (possibly tomorrow night!). If you have no eyepieces at all, I'm sure we will be able to lend you one or two until you get fixed up.
