Wow, what a fantastic view and a beautiful photograph.
You must have very low light pollution right outside your door!

V, it's okay when I don't have lorries inside the house! Tim, there's a main road to the front of the house so I rarely observe there but the back of the house is just a godsend! It's incredibly dark and the house blocks the lights from cars, and my lovely neighbours turn off their lights if the guys are coming down to observe at mine. Another sunset Mournes pic, taken Monday night before I managed to squeeze an 8" Dob, cradle and guitar into a Renault Clio!

Yep, V, there's snow on the Mournes, Neil maintains it looks like something out of Lord of the Rings, Mordor, or something or other, I can't remember! Mount Doom??
I climbed Donard once, got terribly sunburnt and decided that's the end of me climbing mountains, didn't you climb it on your wedding day?
Jonathan, those pics are just stunning! You 'made do' with Lough Neagh beautifully!
