Okay it’s time for the sacrifices after the upgrade! I’ve got a Skywatcher 32mm Panaview and a 17mm Hyperion for sale. The blurb. 32mm Panaview is a 2” eyepiece that I’ve really enjoyed using. The optics are clear and eyepiece in good condition. It’s fairly big eyepiece weighing in at 500gs. This has been my finder and galaxy hunting eyepiece. Together with my UHC filter I loved the views of the veil nebula. The Hyperion 17mm is a fantastic eyepiece! I loved this one. It’s a really clear eyepiece and I’ll be sorry to see it go. It can be used as a 2” eyepiece at 21mm when you take of the front Barlow section. With the addition of the tuning rings the focal length of the eyepiece changes to 13.1mm with the 14mm ring, 10.8mm with the 28mm ring, then 9.2mm with both rings. To be honest I found both rings too much at once in my 10” dob but it might work in a slower scope. One ring made for a useful range of focal lengths. Here’s a link to a .pdf explaining about the eyepiece. www.baader-planetarium.de/com/pdf/hyperion_brief_description_e.pdfIt also explains about the possibility of connecting to a camera for eyepiece projection photography through the use of the appropriate T ring for your camera. Both eyepeices are available at firstlightoptics.com/categories.php?cat=10 if you want to check details. Okay, prices. Skywatcher 32mm Panaview £40 Baader Hyperion 17mm and both tuning rings £75 Eyepieces will be well packed in original boxes and posted by royal mail special next day delivery for £6.70. Or if local I can meet you. Can take Paypal.
