Hit the key and sent the above before i finished writing trying to do too many things at once before i get back to work. Looking for a mount or tripod or even maybe just a mount. Something like an EQ4 or 5 not looking to spend too much but if somebody has one lying about taking up space they are looking to get shot off then let me know.

I have an EQ4 based mount that I got with my Refractor. It's yours if you want it. It's been lying in the garage for I do not know how long. If you wish I can take a few pictures of it over the weekend and post them up.

Hi Simon,
I'm definitely interested if you could post a few pictures when you get a chance that would be great. Does it have a tripod with it or is it just the mount?
Thanks,
Stephen

Just had a thought Simon all being well I plan to be at tomorrows meeting if you are going to the meeting perhaps you could bring the mount with you.
How much would you be looking for it?

Yeah I will be at tomorrow's meeting. In regards to cost I really haven't a clue. Does £40 sound ok? It's only been used three times by the way. In fact if you look at my blog you'll see a picture of me on a mountain top doing some terrestrial viewing with the Refractor, I used the mount in question for that.
I will bring it with me tomorrow so introduce yourself to me - I will be the guy with the long hair - and I'll let you have a look at it and see if it's what you're looking for.

I pulled the mount out of the garage a short while ago as I had a feeling it would be a bit dusty and it was so I washed it with a warm, damp cloth and it looks like new again. The movement is silky smooth from this mount and I forgot that it comes with an illuminated polar scope too - very handy. I took a pictures of it after I cleaned it so you can have a look now before you buy Better late than never as they say.
