Hi Ross and welcome. That is a quality telescope which I would love. I have a NexImage camera which I bought second hand. It's fine but mine is old technology and the quality is not that good. I presume you wan to get into astroimaging?
The biggest learning hung I have done is go out observing with the group. Apart from the social thing there will be loads of advice about setup, alignment etc.
Another great place is the Cloudy Nights forum as there will be a forum specific to your cpc800 which could prove invaluable.
Hope to see you out observing soon.

Yes i want to get into astrphotography/imaging..thought that the new NexImage 5mp would be the one to get.. for now anyway. Should have my equipment in 2 to 3 weeks ;D...can't wait lol Ross

dew shied is a must for this scope, i have the cpc9.25 i would also advise heater strap and dew controller, primary mirror is a dew magnet, but a great scope and easy to use. If you have any problems just put a post up i'll try and answer it.

We will be down at Bangor Collegiate next Thursday night, from 7.00pm, as part of the Stargazing Live event, if you want to call in and say hello.
It is their open night, so it might be a bit crowded.
We'll be the one's with the telescopes :-)

I'll be the one standing at the front talking a load of old c**p and introducing the speaker. Make sure to say hello.
