Hi All
Just dropping a line to say hello, I spent last winter with a pair of Olympus binoculars and a mono-pod and I had a lot of fun at night. I have a Celestron 130EQ-MD ordered since it had a few good reviews for a beginners scope and I will be able to attach my IR DSLR to it and hopefully get a few interesting images.

He'll torment me anyway Stevie, he sits beside me at work!! Hopefully it'll arrive here today so I'll maybe get a wee look at it.

I think I do a pretty good job of sounding like I know what I'm talking about! lol Didn't see the scope in the end, he put it straight in his car.

I was working Jason, not all of us have the time to surf F1.com all day :-) . The sun has dropped behind the hills an the sky is pretty free of clouds, I might even get it out tonight. The red dot sight was way out of alignment but I think it's lined up pretty close now and I was able to make out the letters H6 on the side of an aircraft hanger about 5.5 miles away on the other side of the lough.
