I have a Celestron C6-N with CG4 mount (standard stuff) that I'm looking to get rid of. Moving house soon and I'd rather not take it with me so that I can justify investing in something better Could probably get £100 for it I'm sure but am more than happy to give it away to any local astronomy groups. Not sure if any schools would be interested as I imagine it's not really something they would be able to use very often but if anyone has any ideas I'm open to suggestions. Thanks

I'm sure we could make good use of it if you wish to donate it redstar1. Entirely up to you!

Don't worry redstar it would be used
We do outreach events with schools, scout groups etc as well as public observing events such as stargazing live recently we have been asked by the National trust to help out with public observing sessions on their dark sky sites so it wont get rusty!
