Hi all. First time on forum. looking for some advice. I got my hands on a celestron ultima 8 sct (oldie but good from all reviews). Problem is for all the collimation I try (doughnut) I still cannot get a sharp image. Is there anyone local who can 'service' a scope like this. Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum
That's a great scope, by any standards
Where are you based? One of us may be able to have a look at it for you.

Thanks for replies guys. Based in Brlfast This is my first SCT. Had a couple of small newts, but the write-ups about this were good. Couldn't pass it up. Would be great if someone local could check it out. Would really like to start some proper imaging
