Hi
I have had my telescope since Christmas - have been practising putting it together inside but not managed to get outside yet! My next challenge seems to be transporting it as my garden has too much light pollution. The boxes it came in are too bulky to carry around.
Are there cases or bags available? Any hints and tips for getting out and about with the telescope and accessories? I will probably need to be able to carry it about half a mile from car to use it - with the help of my trusty sidekick!
It is a Skywatcher 200p reflector with EQ5 mount.
Thanks.

You don't really need any bags, although you can get one if you wish.
Depending on the size of your car, just put the OTA across the back seat, and put the base in either the boot, if big enough, or on the front seat. Put a seat belt around both. Or, some of the guys put their back seats down and put the OTA in lengthways, maybe on top of an old sleeping bag.
I carry a 10" dob around in a Hyuandai Getz.
Don't be worried about keeping the OTA pristine, it's tougher than it looks.
