Hi Guys, If anyone can offer assistance on this, I'd be really grateful. I have attached my Canon EOS 600D to my 10" Skywatcher Skyliner 250PX Dobsonian using a T-adaptor. And here's what I get: Obviously I am focusing incorrectly, but with just the body of the camera attached to the t-adaptor, and no lens, there is no focus control. I inserted a 2x Barlow to move the point of focus. And got this:
So something changed, just not sure what. I've looked up chat about this on Stargazers Lounge etc but no joy, so any advice gratefully received. Feel free to mock me on Monday (I'm in the red fleece with the red face and the 17 year old whom I always embarrass by asking dumb questions at the end). Cheers, Gav

Seen this before but can't remember....it's my age You should get the focus point by adjusting the focuser right up and maybe sliding the T-adaptor out a little ie not inserting it fully into the viewfinder...I think.

The problem with some relecting telescopes is that there isnt enough back focus (or possibly forward focus) .... back focus is easily fixed with an extension tube ..... forward focus not so easy.
Slide the camera slowly back (possibly completely out of the focus tube) and see if you can find a point where it focuses. I find it easier to do this in the daytime by pointing it at a landmark such as a lampost.

Like Gary has said, it does look like you are not getting enough travel with your focuser. You can pick up extension tubes from First Light Optics and do not cost much. Also going by your images it shows that your collimation is off a bit.
