Congratulations to James adamson for his fantastic image of the planet, Uranus. Not sure if everyone noticed but there are at least 3 moons visible!!! I think this is a first for EAAS as I have not seen anything like this before. Just goes to show what amateurs are capable of. Clear Skies MarkDJ

Just wanted to add my congrats to James for getting the beautiful image of Uranus. On checking the image I can count 4 moons!!!! definitely a first for an EAAS Member. Very well done indeed, keep it going James!

That really is an absolutely superb image isn't it?
In the not too distant future I hope to make a long exposure webcam in order to be able to capture that kind of image. I originally trained as an electronic engineer before I got involved in the computer business, but it's a while since I did such fine soldering as is required to modify webcam electronics. It's going to be fun!
